I want to strongly advise everyone to avoid doing business with Park Holiday International. Every time you want to plan a trip in the future, you will regret making that huge error. I purchased the membership in 2020 after being told that, if a five-star hotel is not available where you are, you will have access to options other than the Taj and Oberoi and 4 star hotels. I was only given a small selection of 4 star hotels when I first asked to make the reservation. I finally realized that they could only book me a room at a four-star hotel. Okay, I said, let’s try one of the available options.

The hotel was not bad, in my opinion. The experience was decent, but not great.
Now, when I wanted to organize my second trip, Shimla’s 3 star hotels were an option. I had to postpone my plan for two weeks in order to obtain these options because they required two weeks’ notice. I’m questioning whether or not I really delayed my plan to secure these hotel options. Every time, it seems like a struggle to complete a booking on their end. By the time you make a reservation, your vacation mood has already been ruined.

The third time I ask for a reservation, I believe they will further whittle down the choices to 2 star hotels before telling me there are only Dharamshallas left. As a result of my 8 years of association with the park holidays, let’s see. I’ll post my experience once more.
