Wisdom Jobs – Fake, unprofessional and cheating job portal

Wisdom Jobs Complaints & Reviews

By: Ratish Acharya

On the evening of 10th August 2018, I was taken aback when I received a call from an unknown source luring me of a tempting job offer if I would subscribe to one of the online services that they offer. This call had come from Wisdom jobs and the representative name was Moin Shaik(email:[email protected]).
Initially, he seemed very sober and soft-spoken while elaborating on the different jobs available if I had opted for the “Resume services” from Wisdom.
He rather convinced me to avail the service. On behalf of wisdomjobs, he sent a payment link. He kept on calling me a dozen of times so that I could make the payment. There was a call every 5 mins until I finally make the payment that would trigger the services.

Eventually, I made a payment of Rs 2360/- to the agent from the payment link after his insistence.Once the payment procedure was completed, I waited for an update for at least 4 days. I did not receive any response from the agent or anyone from the Wisdomjobs support.

Eager to know about my application status, I tried calling the support number of WisdomJobs, but no response was received.
On retrying a number of times , my call was attended and I finally had a brief unpleasant conversation with one of the support member from WisdomJobs. The agent in question(name not disclosed by the agent) was very arrogant and repeatedly told me to not call again as they have forwarded my resume to some companies.
The agent was very irritated and sounded as if he was just woken up from deep sleep.

A few days later I received a call from Moin(agent who had contacted me earlier) and said there is a job offer in Capgemini for me.
I was transferred to a senior informing me that he would be my interviewer. The interviewer had a very clear fake accent and never was confident throughout the call duration. On requesting his name, he replied with a pseudo name and continued to ask me irrelevant questions.
It was quite clear that he had no knowledge on the interview at hand. My fear of doubts had become true as I was convinced at this time that I was in a trap and sensed a case of fraud against me.

To make things more worse, the call was transferred back to Moin. To my suprise I was asked to make a security deposit amount of 9000 Rs just to go through the online examination for selection. I was shocked as I had never heard of such interview job offers.
I stopped at this and did not entertain this malpractice any more. Since the past week and half , I have never received a single call for any job as such.

My sincere request is that I would like to have my money “refunded” back to me from Wisdom jobs .
