They called me to try to sell me a vacation membership and offered 3-years of 4-star accommodations. When I asked if they dealt with particular hotels while paying, they responded in the affirmative. So I decided to join. However, they informed me that the hotel inventory wouldn’t open until three weeks prior to my stay even though I requested a reservation almost two months in advance. They said they would give me the hotel options at that time, but despite several reminders, they only gave me the cheapest 4-star hotel, which I didn’t like.
I wrote a review about my experience on Google, and now they’re making me delete it before giving me a hotel room. In my review, I merely stated that they made a promise and delivered a different solution, and I was dissatisfied with the service.
I’ve chosen to make a concession and accept the one-night hotel stay, but I do not like the threat you made.
You advised me to delete my review if I wanted the hotel stay, but that is unacceptable. I did not mention in my review that I received no service. Instead, I merely stated that, in light of the promises made when selling the packages, I expected better services. However, contrary to the agreement, I was given a 4-star hotel with a low standard rather than the high standard hotel.
