B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education and Research Development (PERD) Centre – Education System

I am writing this complain about the B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education and Research Development (PERD) Centre, Ahmedabad. This institute is supposed to provide the Pharmaceutical industry and academia the opportunity and resources to undertake the latest in research and development. But actually the institute is worst for education and research system. The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is also running in the same premises. As you are aware the NIPER is famous for Excellence in higher education. This is to show a sorry state of Premier National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) and how badly it is handled by, the current Project Director, where the students are deprived of basic amenities as safe drinking water for almost 15 days and even after repeated application no action taken. The Director is totally against well being of the students.
The main reason for this is the people, who are running this institute since decades.
The director itself is like a dictator. He is very much selfish and rude person and rule the institute with his own. He used to punish the students and use the institute’s things for his personal benefits.
In 2012, NIPER students went on strike because there is nothing happened for them. They can not given the scholarships. Their laboratories are not suffice to perform the projects. The students are always asking for the materials to cater the projects but administration was delaying such needs.
There are so many PHD scholars are working in PERD institute but they are all feel like they are caged. Their guides never listen to them. The guides will not check their papers. Projects are always hanging. Every new student is given a new project. Not a single project comes to the final result. The guides are just working on their own style. Guides are only interested in the money they get as salary.
So please do something for the future of the students. You can also inquire about this to any person who directly or indirectly linked with PERD or NIPER, Ahmedabad.
