It was a painful experience dealing with this agency. And I feel disgusted approaching Yatra.com to arrange for such a important trip of my life (my honeymoon). Since I was busy in the event, I thought it will be prudent to approach a renowned agency to schedule it for me. What can be better then a travel agency endorsed by Mr.Salman Khan. But it was a trauma dealing their representatives.
I have booked this product via an online link send to me by Mr Jeetendra Kumar on 17th Aug’13. Post which after persistent followup I OBTAINED the receipt towards the same on 20th Aug’13 (lapse of 3 days to provide receipt of payment).
Again after a vacuum of almost a week Ms Ankita Srivastava approched me to take the process forward. (lapse of 7 days in initiating the booking)
And my THE TRIP, my honeymoon went for a toss.courtesy Yatra.com unprofessional services rendered to their customers. They dont have the skill set to schedule international trip. As they are mere speculator/ post man between customer and embassy. They have no say to expedite process of Visa and will continue poking customer for more and more documents and lure for more and more money.And assumed that their can be some delay in arranging VISA and they more money to arrange for my accommodation. but due to my initial experience with Yatra, I held the additional payment and to my surprise they were not able to arrange for the VISA post submission of all the necessary document in a period of 20 days. Instead of that they asked for rediculus documents on 13 September 2013. As the document sought by them includes my educational certificate (which is irrelevant for travel Visa), revised No objection certificate from my employer towards my personal trip, I mean what the hell my employer has to do with my honeymoon trip.
As I am a working professional and took limited leaves for my marriage. My decision to choose Yatra.com, this bogus company spoiled my special plan to take my better half to Switzerland. My request to you all is to take some time out, refer trip advisor and plan your iternery then to approach such travel agent, who can not do any value add to your itinerary. SAVE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY AND VALUABLE TIME.
