Tikona – Threatening customers

I have used tikona for the months of May, June. In July i have made the below mentioned complaint, post which i got no explanation and hence i gave a disconnection request. My connection was disconnected then.

I have taken an advance payment plan and as mentioned below even though i have paid the advance for first two months, i got the bills for May and June which i had paid (500 & 1082) and then i have disconnected.

Out of no where today i got a call from 9212457838 claiming to be a lawyer who is working on a case where Tikona is filing a civil case against me for not paying the outstanding amount. I was surprised as after all these months, Tikona had never tried to call or contact me in the mail but am getting a threatening call from someone.

I was asked to pay the amount in half an hour else i would be receiving notice on a legal case filed in Delhi court. I tried explaining and reasoning with them that i need the explanation on the bill before i pay, but there was no luck. The lady who was speaking with me put me on a conference with Tikona executive who plainly said he had no access to database and asked to pay.I tried calling customer care of Tikona which got disconnected giving a response that i will get a call from customer care in four hours which i havent got yet.

There was an hour of mental torture and stress. The call was threatening where the lady was saying that i might need to appear in Delhi court, visa will be cancelled etc. I was made to pay the amount of 1383.

Later after coming out of the situation i realized i have been cheated the whole time. The lady claiming to be a lawyer actually called from a Tikona Tele Center and I was strategically put into a situation where in i was threatened,forced to pay. She was saying she will need my transaction id after i paid so she will not file the case and said she will call me back in 30 mins but there is no call as they got the payment.

Tikona threatens its consumers. Forces them, gives mental stress and make them pay for something that the consumer should not be charged.
