Please do not select this packers and mover if you would like to maintain your peace of mind. I have a very worst experience with this fraud company which went to the level of filing a FIR against them in Madiwala, Police station, Bangalore.
I have tried to summarize here the tragedy and drama the company did for a week time.
1. Unfortunately the google search “Packers and movers in Bangalore” led us to “top5th.co.in”, The 2nd listing in that belongs to this fraud company “Leao star packers and movers” [www.leostarpackersmovers.com].
2. On 1st June 2016 a person named ‘Sunil Sigh’ came to our home to provide quotation. The total amount mentioned in the quotation was Rs 11,000 to move the household items from Bangalore to Coimbatore.
3. On 5th June 2016 4 labours came to assist in packing the things and loading in a tempo. After loading the things in their vehicle they demanded more money [ Rs 23,179], For 3% insurance, Service charges , Service Tax,etc . Remember none of this is neither mentioned in the signed Quotation form nor orally by Sunil Singh.
4. Immediately when we had a hot conversation over the phone with a person called Rakesh Agarwal [Sunil Sign was not in the site and when we called to his number only Rakesh Agarwal picked up] he agreed to move the things for Rs 15,000 and not even a penny extra. We paid to the driver Rs 15K and they assured that the goods will be delivered the next day that’s on 6th June 2016 at the destination.
5. When we called to track the goods on 6th June 2016, Rakesh Agarwal showed his character by demanding higher amount of Rs 23,179. When we denied to pay he threatened that if we delay to pay him, he will be charging Rs 1000 extra per day as a godown charges and till payment the goods wont be delivered.
6. The same argument was going on for a day. Since we felt that some thing is fishy here, we agreed to pay the extra demand in-person in his office. For your surprise he denied, he was not ready to accept the cash in his office , not ready to come in person to collect, he just needs the money to be transferred online to his PNB account.
7. Now we confirmed that it’s a fraud company and our goods are at risk. We when search for this HSR office address we could not find it since its a fake address.
8. Nothing positive happened till 8th June 2016 and we decided that it’s high time to file a police complaint. After so much of trouble and juggling between stations the police accepted our complaint. Nothing fruit full happened immediately even after the complaint.
9. Hot discussions, fights over phone where going for 3 to 4 days time and finally a lorry driver from coimbtaore called me and informed that my goods is on the way and Rakesh Agarwal has asked him to collect Rs 3000 as ‘to pay’. The driver was not informed about this till the goods were loaded in the lorry. Finally I paid Rs 3K to the driver and collected the stuffs as the driver was not linked to him.
10. I did some research about Mr. Rakesh agarwal and found the below informations. Please be careful in selected in the packers and movers. More importantly do not completely rely on the online listings , go in person to confirm their office address and office ambience.
