HDFC LIFE – Bad Service and mismanagement

Dear Sir,

I have taken one policy from HDFC life in 2009. I paid premium by direct debit option. In 2012 I missed to keep balance in my account and could not visit any branch as I am settled in UAE since few years.

I tried to contact some agent by call or by my relatives in India but no one helped us to provide the status of my policy.

So, policy remain unpaid till date and now they replied few days back that we have to pay our three installment with interest amount RS 23850 if we want to continue.

I sent them request to waive the charges so I can pay pending amount. But they are not giving any reply. I also request them to give me calculations if I want to surrender the policy. But no reply.

Kindly note that we are getting very poor service from this company. After selling product, no one is there to help us. We tried to contact some agent and customer care but not received any reply so policy is remain unpaid. My entire family settle in abroad so could not visit branch also.

Kindly guide us what should I do?
