Today morning I received a call from +91 11 4855 2200 number. The caller was a girl. Being a promotional call, I mentioned that my number is in DND. She mentioned that my number is not in DND. I simply said that it’s my number and I know that it is DND and I disconnected the call as I was in my office and doing some important office work.
Since then I started receiving frequent calls from the same number…
I received not less than 18 calls and each one I disconnected as no-one was speaking as if it has put on auto calling.
I had to switch off my phone.
During lunch time I again switched on the phone at around 2:00 pm. I received again 2 calls.
After doing google search I realize that this number is Airtel Delhi number and my service provider is also Airtel.
I am quite surprised how these call centres harass the people. There are 2 complaints against the same number in the forum one link I am giving below.

I would request the Hon. Court to please take up this issue in the public interest and instruct the service providers to stop such harassment.
This data is extracted many times from job portal, and mobile number has became a privacy data now a days, so it shall be considered as breach under private data protection and the job portals like naukri.com need to abiding by the secrecy & data protection act.
